This morning I received my newsletter from my professional organization with the newest School district housing reports. And the news is good!
Average Sale prices are up not only year to year but even from last quarter.
The Average days on market are down which means the homes are selling faster... and as I mentioned for more money.
The reduction in the flood of inventory, the urgency with the potential rise in interest rates and the all around understanding that now is a great time to buy are all factors!
Other things that factor in are rising rents making it more affordable to buy, the fewer foreclosure bargains, the new short sale rules, the leveling off of building material costs allowing builders to build new construction, not to mention the slighlty easier credit standards.
