Robert B. Deibler, 61, husband of Sandra L. (Smith) Deibler, of Pottstown, passed away on Wednesday, June 20, 2012, in the Temple University Hospital, Philadelphia. Born in Wilkinsburg, PA, he was the son of the late Robert B. Deibler and Katharine (Kunkle) Apple, of Souderton.
Mr. Deibler was a member of St. John’s United Church of Christ, Pottstown, and had been employed as an electrician for the former Doehler-Jarvis in Pottstown and JBS Packing in Souderton. He enjoyed his cats and was an avid golfer who especially loved golfing with his buddies.
In addition to his wife, Mr. Deibler is survived by three stepchildren, Melissa K. Gaugler, of Pottstown, Christopher, husband of Melissa A. Gaugler, of Birdsboro, and Nicholas, husband of Melody Gaugler, of Kansas; two sisters, Cheryl D., wife of Jack R. Franckowiak and Robin D. Deibler, wife of John P. Allen; five grandchildren, Liam, Lily, Luke, Mason and Abigail; many nieces and nephews and their families; and his beloved cats, Nate and Angel.
A memorial time will be held on Friday, June 29, 2012, from 5:00-7:00 pm, at Cutillo’s Restaurant, 2688 E. High Street, Pottstown, PA. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. John’s United Church of Christ, 11 S. Price Street, Pottstown, PA 19464 or to GiftOfLifeFamilyHouse.org.
