Obituary: Anthony M. Wozniak, 87

Lived in Limerick; World War II veteran; Sept. 12

Anthony M. Wozniak, age 87, husband of the late Jean (Newmeyer) Wozniak, of Limerick, Pa. died Wednesday morning, September 12, 2012 in the Sanatoga Center, Sanatoga, Pa.  Born in Philadelphia, he was a son of the late Melchior and Martha (Rominiecki) Wozniak.  A veteran, Mr. Wozniak served in the U.S. Navy during World War II.  He worked as an electronics wireman for the General Electric Company at facilities in Philadelphia and King of Prussia, Pa.  Mr. Wozniak was a member of Sacred Heart Roman Catholic Church in Royersford, Pa. where he served as an usher at the 9:30 mass for many years. 

Mr. Wozniak is survived by two sons: Joseph J., husband of Cindy (Neborak) Wozniak, of Royersford; Stephen J., husband of Sherry (Shoemaker) Wozniak, of Royersford; four grandchildren: Amy, Jen, Seth, and Sasha; and several nieces and nephews.  Mr. Wozniak was predeceased by nine siblings. 

Relatives and friends are invited to attend the funeral mass at Sacred Heart R.C. Church, Lewis Road at Walnut Street, Royersford on Tuesday morning, September 18, 2012 at 10:00 am.  Officiating will be the Rev. Peter J. DiMaria.  Burial will be in the Philadelphia Memorial Park, Frazer, Pa.  Friends will be received Monday evening from 7:00 - 8:30 pm or on Tuesday morning from 9:00 - 9:30 am at the Cattermole-Klotzbach Funeral Home, 600 Washington Street, Royersford. Condolences may be made and the video tribute may be viewed by visiting www.RoyersfordFuneralHome.com.
