We are asking the community its opinion on empty stores. Here's your chance to express your views.
We continue this week with our public opinion segment on empty storefronts. We're heading back over to the Amelia's Shopping Center, where we once visited the old Chic Snyder's spot. There is yet another empty storefront in this shopping center. This one is closer to the Dollar Store.
I'm not really sure what would fit here, as the unit is not quite as "noticible" as ones we've featured in the past. The sign on the building says it is 2,075 square feet. The possibilities could be endless with your thoughts!
What do you want to see go here? A lot of people have suggested the need for a new local bakery in the past, but what about a specialty butcher of sorts? Or, how about a sushi takeout place? I've also heard requests for a Saladworks in the past.
