Accident on 422 Narrows Lanes of Traffic

At about 9:20 p.m. on Tuesday night, a three-vehicle accident was reported on 422 East between the Mingo Road and Lewis Road underpasses.

Initial reports indicated the accident was five vehicles and the road was closed, but Royersford Fire Chief Gary Wezel explained the accident only involved three vehicles. Emergency responders arrived on scene to ensure there were no injuries. They found none and no one was taken to the hospital, according to Wezel.

The accident caused a little less than a mile of one-lane traffic on the highway, but that was cleared within a half hour of the fire department arriving on scene.
