Alleged Burglar Struck Homes While on Bail for Similar Charges

A Schwenksville man on bail for burglarizing Montgomery County homes earlier in the year was arrested for burglarizing additional homes in the are while out on bail, according to the Pennsylvania State Police.

Benjamin Troy Lopez, 21 of Schwenksville, was arrested on July 17 for committing four daytime residential burglaries in Lower Frederick, Limerick and Upper Salford townships between June 14 and June 23, according to police.

Lopez was charged with multiples counts of criminal trespass, theft by unlawful taking, receiving stolen property and criminal mischief, among other charges.

According to a previous Patch report, Lopez was charged with four counts of burglary, after he allegedly stole more than $6,200 from four houses between Feb. 25 and March 21.  Lopez was released on $5,000 bail in May.
