Another Jailed in Summer Dealership Heist

Third man sent to jail for multi-state vehicle theft that hit a Limerick dealership.

COURTHOUSE — A third man has admitted to his role in a multi-state ring that hit a Limerick dealership in .

Delonta DeAngelo “Tay” Daniels, 23, of Upper Marlboro, Md., was sentenced in Montgomery County Court on Friday to nine-to-23 months in the county jail after he pleaded guilty to charges of conspiracy to commit theft and possessing an instrument of crime in connection with a vehicle heist that occurred at on Aug. 5.

Judge Richard J. Hodgson, who accepted a plea agreement in the matter, also ordered Daniels to complete three years’ probation after he’s paroled from jail.

Daniels is one of four men from the Maryland and Washington, D.C., areas suspected of taking part in the heist. All of the men face charges in multiple jurisdictions, including Maryland, and potentially face additional jail time.
