Belly-Biting Man Faces Deportation After Assault, Police Say

Baldomar Salazar-Acosta, of Limerick, is allegedly an undocumented immigrant and has a warrant out for his arrest in Texas, according to police.

An alleged July 2 assault during which a Limerick man bit the abdomen of a female landed him jail and facing deportation to Mexico, according to the Limerick Police.

Baldomar Salazar-Acosta, 24, allegedly broke into his ex-girlfriend's home on West Ridge Pike just after 2 a.m. and tried to remove her clothes, police said.

Salazar-Acosta also allegedly bit her in the abdomen; bite marks were visible when police arrived on the scene, according to a report.

The victim’s son called 9-1-1 during the attack, telling police that there was “someone holding down his mom,” police said.

Salazar-Acosta allegedly left the scene before police arrived; they caught up with him on Heffner Road, sleeping in a black vehicle, police said.

According to police, Salazar-Acosta said hat he was supposed to let the dogs out for the homeowner on Heffner Road, and was dating the homeowner’s daughter.

After the arrest, police allegedly found that there is a warrant out for Acosta-Salazar’s arrest in Texas, and he is an undocumented immigrant scheduled for deportation.

According to Limerick Police, Acosta-Salazar is currently being held on $1,000 bail at the Montgomery County Correctional Facility, and is scheduled to be deported.
