Car Hits Royersford Bank

The National Penn Bank on Main Street was damaged in the accident.

Royersford Police responded to an accident scene around 10:17am on Wednesday at the National Penn Bank at 793 Main Street in Royersford. 

A car had struck the building to the right of the main entrance, damaging the outer wall and windows. 

The elderly driver was not hurt, according to Royersford media relations officer Tom Godin.

Engineers will have to assess the structural damage to the building. Police are still investigating the accident, so it is unknown at this time if there will be any charges filed.
