Collegeville Man Causes Diner Disturbance

Refused to pay for food and attacked police officer

The Pottstown Mercury reports that a 19-year-old Collegeville man was arrested for allegedly stealing food from the Limerick Diner on Ridge Pike on July 21.

Daniel Willam Evan reportedly ordered $25.90 worth of food at Limerick Diner and subsequently refused to pay for it.

The Mercury reports that court records show that Evan was at the diner for its open mike night, but threw his wallet at an employee when he was asked to pay for the food.
