Fatal Motorcycle Crash Closes Township Line Road [Update]

A 25-year-old man died after being thrown from his motorcycle in Upper Providence Township near Pope John Paul II High School.

Police are investigating a fatal motorcycle crash that occurred at South Township Line and Old Mill Roads in Upper Providence  Township just before 11 a.m. Wednesday, causing the closure of South Township Line Road between Rittenhouse and Buckwalter roads, according to the Montgomery County Department of Public Safety.

A 25-year-old motorcyclist lost control of his vehicle while traveling on South Township Line Road near Pope John Paul II High School, and was thrown from the bike, according to the Times Herald.

The driver of the motorcycle and the cause of the crash have not been identified; Patch will update this story as more information becomes available.
