Father and Son Arrested in Spring City Drug Raid, Police Say

The arrests followed a months-long investigation.

Spring City police chief Anthony Kuklinski announced Monday a father-and-son duo from Spring City have been arrested and charged with several drug-related offenses.

The two men, Travis Gene Robinson, 55, and Cory Gene Robinson, 19, were arrested at their residence in the 500 block of Broad Street on Sunday morning.

A raid at the location on Sunday turned up marijuana, multiple prescription pills, and a sawed-of shotgun, the chief said.

Kuklinski said in a press release that several undercover officers, working on tips from neighbors, had made purchases of illegal substances at the location in the last several months. The operation was a joint effort between Spring City Police, East Pikeland Police, and the Chester County Drug Task Force. East Coventry Police, East Vincent Police, and Royersford Police also assisted in executing the search warrant.

Those tips, Kuklinski said, "provided substantial and valuable information that assisted with the investigation."

The charges against the two men were identical. They were each charged with prohibited offense weapons, criminal conspiracy to commit violation of the controlled substance act (delivery of controlled substance), unlawful possession of controlled substances, and possession of drug paraphernalia, according to the press release.

Both men were arraigned before Magisterial District Judge Theodore Michaels, and bail was set at $75,000 cash.

Both men have been remanded to Chester County Prison pending a hearing as they were unable to post bail.
