Few Details Available About Township Line Accident

There was a multiple-vehicle accident on Township Line Road on Thursday that resulted in helicopters being deployed in light of a possible head injury to one of the crash victims.

Limerick police and fire departments responded to a two-vehicle crash on Township Line Road on Thursday. A helicopter was sent in to help with the rescue of one of the people involved in the accident, according to two anonymous tips.

The accident was reported at about 11 a.m. and came at the intersection of Township Line and the on-ramp for 422 East.

Vehicles involved included a black BMW and a blue sedan. According to the tips, the male was about 25 years old and had a possible nosebleed and dizziness.

Traffic heading northbound was held up for about a half hour. The scene was cleaned up before noon.

Police could not be reached for comment. Patch will have updates as they become available.
