No injuries were reported during a fire call that closed Main Street in Royersford around lunchtime on Tuesday.
The incident on the 200 block of Main Street was dispatched at about 11:40 a.m., according to the incident status page of the Montgomery County Department of Public Safety.
The Royersford Office of Emergency Management reported on its Facebook page that a basement water pipe at the location had ruptured, leaking water onto a heating unit. The resulting steam and smoke then caused fire alarms to activate.
