Four Displaced in Upper Providence Fire

The fire began in the Mont Clare section of the township Tuesday morning.

Four people were displaced after a fire in Upper Providence on Tuesday morning.

The fire began on the 200 block of Bridge Street in Mont Clare just before 9 a.m. and was extinguished by 10 a.m.; Black Rock Fire Company was among those on scene.

Of those displaced the Red Cross says that two declined help, one will be released from the hospital soon and the other has not responded to the agency, according to the Times Herald.

The Phoenixville Office of Emergency Management posted a link on Facebook to a video of the fire shot by Barry Taglieber and posted here on Facebook.

A helicopter shot of the fire scene can also be seen on the 6ABC.com website. 

The cause of the fire has not been released; check back with Patch for more information.
