Fourth Man Arrested in Borowy Homicide and Home Invasion

Law enforcement agencies have been hunting Andre 'Dre' Collier since May in connection to the home invasion and murder of Kareem Borowy in Lower Pottsgrove.

The last suspect allegedly involved in the May homicide of Kareem Borowy in Lower Pottsgrove Township has been taken into custody after Andre "Dre" Collier was tracked down Monday by the U.S. Marshal's Service, Violent Crimes Fugitive Task Force and the Pennsylvania State Police Special Emergency Response Team, according to authorities.

Montgomery County District Attorney Risa Vetri Ferman, West Pottsgrove Township Chief Earl Swavely and Lower Pottsgrove Township Police Chief Michael Foltz, announced the arrest in a press release on Tuesday.

Collier was arrested as he fled a mobile home on the 100 block of Coxville Road in Beaver Meadows, Carbon County.

Collier is charged with the murder and related offenses for the Sunday, May 5 homicide of Borowy, 19, which occurred in Lower Pottsgrove Township, according to the release. 

Borowy was the victim of a home invasion robbery and kidnapping earlier on May 5 at his home in West Pottsgrove Township.

Rasheed Teel, Charles "Cheese" Freeman, and Omar Miller, co-conspirators have been previously arrested. Collier was the only suspect still at large.

Earlier in July, law enforcement agencies offered a $5,000 reward for the apprehension of Collier.

Collier was arraigned before Magisterial District Judge Thomas Palladino in Pottstown and will be remanded to the Montgomery County Correctional Facility without bail.
