Heroin, Mushrooms Found in Limerick Vehicle, Police Say

Rudolf Klein, 20, and Tyler Mitchell, 21, were also in possession of drug paraphernalia including needles and a marijuana bowl, police say.

Two Barto men were arrested after heroin and mushrooms were allegedly found in possession of heroin and mushrooms for distribution and drug paraphernalia, according to Limerick Township Police.

Stefan Rudolf Klein, 20, and Tyler Mitchell, 21, both of Barto, were stopped by police while traveling in a Silver Kia on North Lewis Road on July 30 at 7:39 p.m. for allegedly passing a vehicle carelessly, according to police.

When police allegedly smelled marijuana in the car, the driver, Klein, admitted that there was a marijuana bowl in the center console, police said.

During the search, Mitchell was allegedly found in possession of a mushroom in a red cigarette pack, and a bag at the Mitchell’s feet contained a bag with eight smaller bags, labeled “SHROOMZ” and a used needle, burnt metal spoon and shoestring, according to police.

A green Nike backpack in the car had seven wax paper pouches with powder, and a pink-colored straw with power residue, police said, who later confirmed the powder to be heroin.

In the center console, police found a marijuana bowl.

Mitchell was charged with possession of a controlled substance, possession with intent to deliver, and possession or use of drug paraphernalia, according to court documents. Mitchell was released on $3,000 bail.

Klein was processed and released after his arrest’ on Aug. 2, he was charged with possession of  controlled substance, drug paraphernalia and careless driving.
