Judge Revokes Admitted Royersford Stabber's Bail

Matthew Harmon violated two court orders preventing him from seeing the girlfriend he admitted to stabbing in April, according to police.

A Royersford man, who admitted to stabbing his girlfriend during a domestic dispute in April, had his bail revoked Friday for continuing contact with the victim, regardless of a court order.

Matthew Harmon, 60, of Main Street, was returned to the Montgomery County Correctional Facility after Judge Wendy Demchick-Alloy held a hearing regarding his violation of two no contact orders that prevented the two from having contact; on Thursday, Demchick-Alloy refused a request from the alleged stabbing victim to lift the order.

According to the Times Herald, Royersford police testified at the Friday hearing that they observed the victim at Harmon’s home in the late evening hours on July 17, just one day before Harmon admitted in court to stabbing her with a steak knife as she attempted to leave his house during a domestic incident.
