Limerick Man Heads to Trial for Major Traffic Violations

Child endangerment looms for this young Limerick man.

NORRISTOWN - A Limerick man faces trial on charges he allegedly endangered his two child passengers when he drove his vehicle while under the influence of controlled substances, including traces of oxycodone and morphine.

Caleb Alexander Olshansky, 27, of the 400 block of North Lewis Road, waived his arraignment in Montgomery County Court and pleaded not guilty to charges of endangering the welfare of children, driving under the influence of controlled substances, driving without a license, driving while under suspension and numerous traffic violations in connection with a November 2011 incident in Limerick.

An investigation of Olshansky began about 6:45 p.m. Nov. 7 when Limerick police responded to reports of a reckless driver, operating a 1996 Mercury Sable, on eastbound Ridge Pike near Sunset Road. Witnesses reported the vehicle was drifting on the roadway and even crossed the center turning lane and entered the westbound traffic lane, according to the criminal complaint.
