Resident Interrupts Intruder in Limerick Home

The suspected burglar was discovered by the home's owner.

Limerick Township police are investigating a burglary that took place Thursday at around 12:30 p.m. in the 100 block of Benner Road, Limerick.

Police say the break-in was discovered when the resident returned home and noticed a pillowcase on the foyer floor near the front door.

The resident heard noises coming from a rear first-floor bedroom and went to investigate. He discovered a black male in the bedroom "ransacking the room," according to the police department.
