Officer Kevin McGuigan responded on the scene and viewed Nazario and a friend, Darysabe Delvalle, in the store. Nazario was seen on tape taking the sunglasses from the store.

McGuigan searched the outlets for the two suspects and found them at Express. The two females complied with McGuigan, but denied having stolen the sunglasses. After checking their backs, it appeared they did not have the sunglasses in their possession; however, McGuigan noticed keys to a rental car in one of the purses and asked to search the car. The suspects complied again, denying they had stolen the sunglasses.

After searching the glove box of the vehicle, McGuigan found the sunglasses and returned to confront the girls. Nazario admitted to taking the sunglasses and was taken in for retail theft. The sunglasses were returned to the store.

Public Drug Use Busted

Three men in their early-20s were found in possession of marijuana on Thursday night at Trinley Park in Linfield.

Officer McGuigan was patrolling the area when he observed a black Chevrolet S-10 Blazer in the parking lot after dark. He approached the vehicle and found the three men outside of the car. The men were identified as John J. Roberts, 21 of Spring City, Steven T. Spurio, 26 of Royersford, and Andrew Bernard Meagher, 26 of Phoenixville.

McGuigan immediately sensed a strong odor of marijuana upon approaching the vehicle and asked the men what they were doing. They told him they were coming from Pump Town Tavern. After calling for backup, McGuigan then began interrogating the three. Roberts admitted to having "a little bit of weed." McGuigan took a small tin with a small amount of what was later identified positively as marijuana.

Spurio told McGuigan he had a "bowl" in the center console. McGuigan also recovered that along with three small plastic containers that also had a little bit of marijuana in them. Meagher gave up his purple bag, which had another glass pipe and a small amount of marijuana, as well.

All three males were issued a disorderly conduct from the officer and were released from the scene. Spurio was not under the influence, so he was given permission to drive the other two home in the vehicle, which was his.

After positive testing, the marijuana and pipes were disposed of.
