Limerick Woman Fails to Have Evidence Thrown Out at Trial

Megan Rossi allegedly struck a man on a lawnmower while under the influence of several drugs.

Megan Rossi, a Limerick resident accused of driving under the influence when she struck and severely injured Karl Pedone in 2011, lost a bid to have blood evidence thrown out at her trial, according to a report from Carl Hessler of the Pottstown Mercury.

Rossi was allegedly driving under the influence when she struck Pedone, who was on a riding lawnmower in the yard of his Laver Road residence on November 6, 2011.

Rossi requested a hearing to suppress blood test evidence and a statement she gave to Limerick Township police the day of the accident, claiming she was intimidated by police into cooperating.
