News Brief: Burglary in Limerick
Residents asked to report suspicious persons, vehicles
A home on the 500 block of King Road, near the border with Royersford, was burglarized yesterday while the residents were not home, Limerick Police said Tuesday morning in a post on their new Facebook page.
The home's master bedroom was "ransacked" and jewelry was taken, police said.
"Suspects in these incidents will often knock on the front door of a home before breaking in to determine if anyone is home. They typically have a legitimate sounding story for being in the area in case someone answers the door," police said.

Limerick Police ask that residents report any suspicious vehicles or persons in their neighborhoods by calling 9-1-1.
