No Charges Against Driver in Pedestrian Death

Royersford Police released vital information on Tuesday night.

Toxicology test results came back to the early this week in connection with the vehicle accident that resulted in the death of a man on Feb. 7 on Main Street in Royersford.

Royersford officer Tom Godin revealed that Kimberly Villanova of Schwenksville was not operating her 1996 Jeep Cherokee while under the influence of drugs, alcohol or prescription medication when she hit Samuel Murdock, 72, of Spring City, while he crossed the street. Murdock died from massive head trauma soon after.

Godin further noted Villanova will not face any charges in the accident. On the night of the accident, Royersford Police Chief Kevin Schurr confirmed Villanova was not speeding.
