No Serious Injuries in Monday Crash on 422

The roadway was closed for about 45 minutes while the wreck was cleared, police said.

There were no serious injuries in a crash that closed the westbound lanes of Route 422 in Limerick late Monday morning, the Pennsylvania State Police said Wednesday.

Police said the 11:25 a.m. crash occurred when a 52-year-old New Jersey man traveling in the left lane in a 2008 Dodge Avenger attempted to change lanes.

When he changed lanes, police said, he struck a 2005 Toyota Camry driven by a 22-year-old Philadelphia woman, who was "slightly behind" him in the right lane.
