Woman Allegedly Switched Tags at Kohl's

On April 25 at 11:07 p.m., Officer Shawn Pancoast was dispatched to for an alleged retail theft. Upon arrival, Pancoast spoke with the Loss Prevention Department. Representatives from the department said a Pamela Destefano, 46 of Schwenksville, was seen on surveillance switching tags on six articles of clothing and two housewares appliances. She also reportedly had a Hallmark card that was not paid for.

The value of the nine items was $272.50. The police report said Destefano only paid $123.42. This was her first retail theft offense. She was taken to Pottstown Police Department, issued a citation for summary retail theft and released.

Woman Claims Harassment by Group of Men at Outlets

On April 28, police received a call at 6:50 p.m. for a report of harassment at the Philadelphia Premium Outlets earlier in the day. A 20-year-old female employee of reported to police that she was harassed by a group of Hispanic males while she was on break.

The woman claimed a Hispanic male jumped in front of her and told her she was "too gorgeous to let go." She said three more males surrounded her and would not let her leave. The woman said the men kept saying "gorgeous, beautiful, sexy" and allegedly grabbed her buttocks, stomach and hips.

When the woman was finally able to break free from the crowd and walk away, she noticed one of the men following her. She was able to find a male friend that also worked at the outlets. Once she made contact with him, the follower allegedly disappeared.

No further action was taken.

Man Admits to Stealing Jewelry from Residence

Dustin Fitcharles, 31, of the 300 block of Walnut Street has been summonsed to appear in court for theft and receiving stolen property, according to Royersford Officer Tom Godin.

Fitzcharles allegedly stole between $1,500 and $1,750 of jewelry from a residence in which he had permission to be in. Fitzcharles was interviewed at the Royersford Police Department and admitted to the theft of jewelry, which ranged from Decemeber 2011 to February 2012. The charges are misdemeanor and a court date is pending.
