Man Had to be Tasered For Resisting Arrest
On Dec. 14 at 4:31 p.m., responding Officer Tim DiGregorio was dispatched to the trailer park at 165 Ridge Pike for a subject armed with a gun in his back pocket. The caller reported a white male shot out of the window of his home and was walking away from his trailer. He also indicated the male was known around the park as "Ratman."
Upon arrival, DiGregorio met with the witness, who pointed out the subject, Euguene Dawson Davis, 46. DiGregorio approached Davis in full uniform and told him to stop and that he's under arrest. Detectives Ernie Morris and Matthew Daywalt arrived on scene during this time and witnessed Davis walking into his trailer and closing the door behind him.

DiGregorio reported that before the door closed, he observed a black and silver pistol and another firearm on the table in the trailer. He immediately kicked the door in and confronted Davis, telling him again that he was under arrest three more times. Davis backed up and sat on the couch, keeping his back pockets out of view. DiGregorio and Morris attempted to pull Davis to the ground, but he continuously resisted arrest. He was given two more warnings to stop resisting, but did not comply, so he was tasered by DiGregorio. When the taser stopped, Davis continued to resist, even grabbing the wires to the taser and ripping them out. He was dry-stunned two more times and stoped resisting. He was taking to Phoenixville Medical Center by Trappe Ambulance and later released to police who took him in for housing. DiGregorio reported the odor of alcohol on Davis.
He was locked up upon release. Police found two BB gun pistols and another BB gun on the table of Davis' home. All guns were loaded with steel BBs, had a CO2 tank attached and the safety was off on all three.
The owner of a residence that was damaged in all of this reported he was home with his wife and young daughter when Davis allegedly shot a BB through a pane glass window in his home and then through a glass stink bomb into the home. The damage to the screen door was valued at $100.
Davis was charged with carrying, possessiong, etc. of weapons.
Six Youngsters Found Smoking Marijuana in Empty Lot
On Dec. 17 at 8:23 p.m., responding Officer Brian Tyler was patroling the area of Enterprise Drive when he saw two cars parked next to each other in the empty lot across from Iron Mountain at 1101 Enterprise Dr.
Tyler parked his car and approached the vehicles, installing a night vision monacle to see what was going on in the dark lot. He saw a dark-colored Chevrolet Cavalier and a dark-colored Mitsubishi Lancer parked next to each other. The Lancer, he said, had several subjects inside. He also noticed flashing lights inside the vehicle, which were enhanced by the night vision.
Upon getting closer to the vehicle, Tyler reported seeing what appeared to be smoke inside the car and began to smell marijuana. He called in for backup and due to the large amount of people in the vehicle, awaited the arrival of other officers before making a move.
While waiting for the other officers, the driver began to exit the vehicle, to which Tyler approached him and told all other occupants to put their hands on the ceiling of the car. He reported the smell of marijuana grew stronger when the door opened. All occupants complied with Tyler's requests.
Limerick Officer Christopher Iochum and Royersford Officer Joseph Oberholtzer arrived on scene. All occupants were asked to exit the vehicle one-by-one. Inside, Tyler noticed a small bag filled with what appeared to be marijuana and an orange pipe, along with several sandwich bags with what appeared to contain bits of marijuana. These items were seized. Tyler said the orange pipe was still warm and had a strong odor of marijuana coming from it.
Upon interviewing each occupant, it was found that five of them were under the age of 18, including the driver of the vehicle, and deemed juveniles. One man, Ethan McGuigan of Limerick was 18.
All subjects were instructed to contact their parents for pickup. The vehicle owner arrived on scene and gave permission to search the car. Police found a small Christmas tin with what appeared to be bits of marijuana in it.
All subjects were released to their parents, except one female, whose mother was in Allentown. She was taken back to the station until her mother arrived to pick her up. Everyone was cited for disorderly conduct in lieu of constructive possession charges. The marijuana and paraphernalia were all field tested and tested positive for marijuana. Tyler reported all items were disposed of properly.
