"Significant increase" in thefts from vehicles
Police in surrounding areas have advised the Limerick Township Police Department of a "significant increase" in overnight thefts from vehicles, the department said today in a bulletin on its Facebook page.
Most victims had left their vehicles unlocked with small electronics such as iPods or GPS devices in plain view.
A possibly silver car with a loud exhaust was described as "a suspect vehicle" in the thefts.
