A Pottstown man is facing charges relating to an incident on Sunday at Limerick Community Park, in which he allegedly exposed himself to a mother and daughter on the walking trail near Manderach Memorial Playground, according to Limerick Township Police.

The victim said that a dark-skin manned, possibly Hispanic, wearing a grey shirt and grey pants had his pants unbuttoned and unzipped on the trail, and was fully exposed, according to police.

The woman, who attempted to shield her daughter from what was happening, immediately called police and reported a description of the man; officers located him shortly after near the bathroom facilities, police said.

According to the victim, Garcia “seemed to be disoriented, not acting right,” police said.

Garcia was charged with two counts of indecent exposure and one count each of open lewdness and disorderly conduct. He was unable to post $25,000 bail, and was sent to the Montgomery County Correctional Facility, according to court records.

Garcia pleaded guilty to open lewdness after a 2006 incident, and in 2008 he was charged with indecent exposure and open lewdness, though the charge was changed and he served jail time for harassment, according to court records.

In 1998 and 2003, Garcia pleaded guilty to drug charges, according to court documents.
