[Christopher] Iochum said that Rossi was “crying hysterically” when he tried questioning her about the accident.

However, Officer Brian Tyler testified that he noticed different behavior from Rossi when he talked to her at the scene after the accident.

“Miss Rossi appeared to be hysterical at points and nonchalant at (others),” he said. “She cycled through these pretty frequently.”

Tyler, who said he administered first aid to Pedone at the scene, was also the policeman who took Rossi to Pottstown Memorial Medical Center to get her blood drawn for the tests that would eventually turn up 6 different drugs in her system, including Clonazepam and Oxycodone.

Her arraignment is set for Feb. 29, and bail will be kept under the same conditions, according to Otto. The following is an update, from Otto, on the victim, Karl Pedone's condition.

Currently, Pedone is at Bryn Mawr Rehab. His movement is very limited, mostly confined to his fingers. He’s been bedridden in hospitals since the incident and has undergone six surgeries, “with more to come,” said Andrew P. Moore, the family’s lawyer.
