Royersford Borough Adding New Stop Signs

Royersford police announce addition of 4 stop signs to borough streets.

The Royersford Police department announced today in a media release that four locations around the borough will be getting new stop signs to make the intersections a four-way stop.

According to the press release, the four signs are being placed for safety reasons.

"The purpose of these stop signs are to slow the flow of traffic down and reduce accidents in these areas," police said.

These four locations are: 

  • N. 5th Avenue and Chestnut Street
  • S. 3rd Avenue and Walnut Street
  • 4th Avenue and Spring Street
  • N 6th Avenue and Oak Street

Police expect the four new signs will be in place within a few weeks.
