Royersford Kohl's Robbed This Morning

Police have suspect in custody, according to local reports.

The , located at 989 Main St., Royersford, was allegedly robbed, according to Limerick Police reports. The suspect is already in police custody.

David P. Piergrossi, 49, entered the Kohl’s along Main Street/South Township Line Road around 9 a.m., according to reports. At that time, police said he pressed “an object into the small of a female employee’s back, implying it was a gun,” Limerick Police Chief Bill Albany told the Pottstown Mercury.

Piergrossi allegedly took several small items before leaving in his car. Police said that an eyewitness noticed him trying to cover his face and said his license plate was covered with blue painters tape.
