Royersford Men Charged In Drug Case

Brothers facing heroin-related charges

Brandie Kessler of the Pottstown Mercury reports that two Royersford men were arrested by a SWAT team on July 25 in relation to an ongoing drug investigation.

According to the Mercury, Blake Werts, 19, and Gary Malik Noble Werts, 27, were arrested around 6:00 a.m. that day after police went to their residence to serve a search warrant.

After entering the residence, "officers located nine bundles of heroin, containing 126 bags of heroin, and an additional 30 bags of heroin, which has a total street value of approximately $1,560," according to the Mercury's search of court records.

A large amount of drug paraphernalia was also found, says the affidavit.

Both men were arraigned and bail was set at $100,000 for each of them.

Court records show that preliminary hearings are set for Friday, August 3 at 1:30pm.
