The Royersford National Night Out will be held Tuesday at 5 p.m. between Third and Fifth Avenue on Washington Street, promising that the crime awareness event will be be "bigger and better than ever," according to organizers.
Applebee's, Outback Steak House, Corner Cafe, Edible Arrangements, Texas Roadhouse and more will be on hand to serve free food, and a dunk tank, moon bounce and rock wall will be available.
Target of Royersford, Oaks and Pottstown and Wegman's of Collegeville will also participate in the event.
A variety of music will be performed, including rock, country, blues and gospel.
"Teach-ins" will be held on domestic violence, immunizations, fracking, the Schuylkill Trail, voter registration and DUI.
Those attending are encouraged to bring a non-perishable items for Project Outreach.
