Royersford Woman Charged with Stealing Jewelry from Neighbor
Catherine Spatzer-Glazier, of Main Street, allegedly stole items and sold them to local jewelry stores.
A resident on the 900 block of Main Street in Royersford reported that she returned home on July 17 and allegedly found her neighbor, Catherine Spatzer-Glazier, in her home, according to the Royersford Borough Police Department.
According to the victim, Spatzer-Glazier, 50, also of the 900 block of Main Street, said she got into the house with a key, though she never said where the key came from, Royersford Police said.
Later in the day, the victim said she found multiple items of jewelry missing; a check of local jewelry stores revealed that Spatzer-Glazier sold several items of jewelry to a local jewelry store on July 16, claiming the items were hers, according to police..

When police searched Spatzer-Glazier’s home, they allegedly found a number of other pieces of the victim’s jewelry, police said.
Spatzer-Glazier was charged with two counts of burglary, criminal trespass, theft by unlawful taking and receiving stolen property—all felony charges, according to court records.

Spatzer-Glazier was unable to post $75,000 bail, and is currently in the Montgomery County Correctional Facility.
