As previously reported on Patch, Turns set a fire to her apartment on the evening of March 24, 2013 after placing a pile of clothes directly on the stove, according to Royersford police.

After setting the fire, Turns was found outside of the building in her vehicle on Sixth and Main streets. She told she left the building because “she did not want to get burnt inside the apartment and she did not want to die,” police said.
