Shotgun, Marijuana, Paraphernalia Found in Friday Drug Raid

Upper Providence Police released an official report Saturday afternoon

Upper Providence police have reported that Justin Mastroianni, 21, was arrested last night in response to a drug-related search warrant at 41 Orchard Ct. in Royersford.

Police found marijuana, a digital scale, drug packaging materials and a shotgun in the investigation. Mastroianni escaped during the investigation, in handcuffs, but was taken back into custody early Saturday morning.

Nicholas Mastroianni, 22, was also noted as a person involved, but no further details were released about him or his involvement.

Assisting agencies included: Chest-Mont Emergency Response Team, Royersford Police, Limerick Police, Pennsylvania State Police, Lower Providence Police and Philadelphia Police.

For those who recall correctly, John Mastroianni, 48, of Orchard Court allegedly shot himself during a similar drug raid back in June.
