Spring City Man Confesses to Burglary Spree

The following incident report was provided by the East Pikeland Police Department.

A 28-year-old Spring City man confessed to committing a series of burglaries in the Phoenixville area after he was arrestd by East Vincent police on a separate charge, the is reporting.

On August 14, East Pikeland police arrested Bryan Durante on suspicion of a string of burglaries that occurred from late June to early August. Durante was initially picked up on a warrant by East Vincent Police and, while in custody, confessed to burglaries on Verdant Drive, Spring City Road, and Pheasant Run Lane. 

During the course of the investigation, officers recovered a screwdriver from Durante's vehicle which he later admitted was used to pry open doors in several of the incidents.

Durante also admitted to other burglaries in the area. Charges are pending in those jurisdictions.
