Teen Abducted, Killed Following Home Invasion in West Pottsgrove

The 19-year-old was due in court Tuesday on charges stemming from a drug arrest in March.

A West Pottgrove man was found injured along the side of Sanatoga Station Road in Lower Pottsgrove on Sunday afternoon and later pronounced dead at the scene, following a home invasion at his home on Manatawny Street. 

Kareem Ali Borowy, 19, was abducted at gunpoint around 2 p.m. on Sunday. Reports say multiple armed people approached the teen, demanded money, and then forced him into a car and drove away.

Pottstown Patch has learned that Borowy was arrested and charged on March 9 with several drug-related charges after police said they saw him involved in a drug deal in the mall's parking garage.

The District Attorney's office has said in a press release that they do not believe the robbery and abduction were a random act.
