Four teenagers from Pottstown were arrested for drug possession with intent to deliver after they were pulled over on Route 422 in Limerick Township.

On Nov. 30 just before 3:30 p.m., two 18 year olds were traveling westbound on Route 422 with two unidentified juveniles, 16 and 17, when they were stopped for a number of traffic violations, according to police.

Police requested consent to search the vehicle and was denied; the vehicle was impounded and a search warrant was obtained by police, who allegedly found one ounce of marijuana and packaging material.

Charges will be filed in District Justice Walter Gadzicki’s office.

I must say the lack of content or details in many of these stories is appalling. Everything seems like recycled stories from other news outlets. The lack of real reporting on the Patch as of late is really lame on the part of the editors. The content on here was so much better when Anne Cornell and David Powell were the editors. Bring them back . The patch is hardly a news source anymore. In fact im unsubscribing.

You need to learn to read between the lines - "Police asked to search the vehicle, because they had no probable cause to do so. Otherwise they would not have asked. When their request was refused, they immediately interpreted that as de facto probable cause and proceeded to trash the Constitution in as many ways possible, in the shortest amount of time."
