Three Teens Arrested for Royersford Elementary Vandalism, Police Say

The juveniles, former students of the school, allegedly caused over $5,000 in damage.

 

Three Royersford Teens were arrested May 27 for allegedly breaking into Royersford Elementary over Memorial Day Weekend, causing over $5,000 in damage, according to the Royersford Borough Police Department.

The 13-year-olds, former students of the Spring Street school, also allegedly stole several items from the building that were recovered during the arrest, police said.

According to Spring-Ford School District Superintendent David Goodin, school maintenance staff spent the Memorial Day weekend working to fix the damage so that students could return on Tuesday.

The teens were remanded to the Montgomery County juvenile detention facility, according to police.
