Initial reports indicated that two people were trapped in the armored car. Friendship Ambulance transported at least one patient in unknown condition.

The armored car flipped onto its side during the crash and had to be righted by a heavy towing rig from Superior Towing.

After the armored car was set upright, a second armored car from Garda arrived, possibly to transfer the contents of the vehicle involved in the accident.
