UPDATE: Spring City Man Dies After Crashing into Limerick Car Dealership

A man was killed when his vehicle launched off a snow bank and crashed into several cars.

A Spring City man died Thursday afternoon after his vehicle crashed into the Piazza Honda Dealership on N. Lewis Road in Limerick Township.

Stephen Bruno, 61, of Spring City, was taken to Pottstown Memorial Hospital and died a short time after his vehicle crashed into several parked cars, according to ABC Local.

Around 3:30 p.m., a red Mercury Mountaineer "abruptly" made a left turn at the 600 block of N. Lewis Road and launched off a snow bank in the car dealership's parking lot.  The vehicle took the roof off one car and struck others, according to the Pottstown Mercury.

Limerick and Linfield firefighters rescued Bruno from the vehicle, which landed on its passenger side.

The crash is still under investigation by the Limerick Township Police.
