Viewfinder: Accident on Ridge Pike

Two vehicles collided on West Ridge Pike approaching the Sanatoga interchange of Route 422.

Two passenger vehicles collided on West Ridge Pike approaching the Sanatoga interchange of Route 422 shortly before 6:00pm Thursday evening.

Officer Chris Nestler of the Limerick Township Police Department said the driver of the first vehicle, a Mercury Mountaineer, collided with the second vehicle, a Suzuki, while making a lane change.

The drivers were transported to Pottstown Hospital. The extent of their injuries was not immediately known.
