Woman Has .309 BAC in Ridge Pike DUI-Crash

A Douglassville woman was arrested for DUI on Sunday night.

The following release was sent in by Chief Bill Albany:

On Feb. 5 at 8:20 p.m., Limerick police responded to a report that a vehicle had struck a parked car in the 300 block of W. Ridge Pike. Upon their arrival they found both vehicles involved had sustained heavy damage. The operator of the striking vehicle, Toni Pirozek, age 36, of the 700 block of Constitution Ave in Douglassville, stated she could not recall what happened.

She had bloodshot eyes and the odor of an alcoholic beverage on her breath. Pirozek was transported to Pottstown Police Department where a breath test showed her BAC to be .309, almost four-times the legal limit.
