Woman Killed in Lower Pottsgrove Hit-and-Run
A woman was killed after being struck by a bus Monday morning.
A 78-year-old Pottstown woman was struck and killed by a bus in Lower Pottsgrove on Monday morning in an apparent hit-and-run.
The incident happened around 7 a.m. on Mervine Street near North Charlotte Street near the township's line with Pottstown Borough, according to CBS Local.
The victim has been identified as Shirley Wilhelm, 78, of the 1000 block of Terrance Lane in Pottstown, who was out for her morning walk.

Police say that a school bus driver has made contact with investigators following the crash, according to ABC.
