Woman Stole $2,400 From Limerick Employer, Police Say

A Pottstown woman also faces drug charges after allegedly stealing from Neiman Marcus Last Call while in possession of Suboxone.

 

An employee at the Philadelphia Premium Outlets in Limerick was arrested for pilfering roughly $2,400 in cash from her employer, Neiman Marcus Last Call, according to Limerick Township Police.

Ashley Rose Sheridan, 28, of Pottstown, admitted to stealing roughly $2,400 since March after she was caught on security camera taking cash from the store’s vault and stuffing it in her shirt, police say.

An investigation began on May 29 when Sheridan’s supervisor noticed that a register was short $170, and that the store's safe was short $1,630, prompting surveillance camera be placed near the safe, according to police.

Sheridan was arrested around 2 p.m. on June 7 after surveillance footage caught her taking more than $300 from the safe on June 6 and 7, police said.

When Sheridan was arrested, she was allegedly found with 8 milligrams for Suboxone, a narcotic used to treat opioid addiction, with no prescription, according to police.

Sheridan was charged with theft by unlawful taking, receiving stolen property, possession of a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia and was sent to the Montgomery County Correctional Facility after being unable to post bail, according to court records.
