Women Stole $800 in Merchandise During Limerick Theft Spree, Police Say

The trio allegedly stole dozen of items from The Children's Place, Polo Ralph Lauren and Bath and Body Works, among others.

Three Philadelphia women are currently in jail after being charged with multiple counts of theft, receiving stolen property and conspiracy after allegedly stealing nearly $800 in five different shops at the Philadelphia Premium Outlets on June 5.

According to an affidavit of probable cause, police were called to The Uniform Outlet at the Philadelphia Premium Outlets in Limerick for the report of a theft in progress, where an employee said three black females, later identified as Jasmine Harris, 20, Brianna Hall, 22, and Shanay Green-Waters, 21, stole three shirts while in the fitting room.

Police identified one of the women who matched the description near the Nike outlet and she Harris was identified by the employee of The Uniform Outlet as the thief.

Harris allowed police to follow her to her 2001 green Grand Am in the parking lot, where the two other defendants, Green-Waters and Hall were sitting, according to police.

In the vehicle, police found a variety of items with no receipts, including 30 items of clothing from The Children’s Place totaling nearly $300, 23 bottles of lotion and body spray from Bath and Body Works totaling just over $100, eight shirts from Polo Ralph Lauren totaling $132, two pairs of sneakers from Reebok totaling $140 and four shirts and a pair of pants from the Uniform Outlet totaling $80.

The total of the alleged theft was $755; Bath and Body Works and The Children’s Place opted not to prosecute, but the females are being charged for the other $361.

All three defendants were charged with five counts each of retail theft, conspiracy – retail theft and receiving stolen property, according to court documents.

Hall and Green Waters are currently in the Montgomery County Correction Facility after being unable to post $20,000 and $5,000 bail, respectively. Harris posted bail ten percent of her $10,000 bail.
