Limerick Community Day Offers Business Expo, Farmers Market
The event will begin at 11 a.m. on Saturday at Limerick Community Park.
Limerick Community Day, the township’s largest community event of the year, will be held on Saturday at Limerick Community Park from 11 a.m.-3 p.m.
Residents can enjoy music, games, food, inflatables, and information on local organizations and businesses.
For the second year, community day will feature a Farmers Market and craft fair with local vendors. A Business Expo sponsored by the Spring-Ford Chamber of Commerce will also be held.

Limerick Township Parks & Recreation, Exelon, Spring-Ford Chamber of Commerce and Primrose School of Royersford are sponsors of the 2013 Limerick Community Day. As of Friday, 60 vendors are signed up.
“Community Day provides a direct benefit to the community through Limerick Township Parks and Recreation projects. Recent accomplishments include upgrades to the Manderach Memorial Playground. Future projects include a dog park and extension of the walking trail currently enjoyed by many residents,” according Limerick Township.

Parking by donation will benefit the Linfield Fire Company; a rain date for the event is Sunday.
