Limerick Takes Legal Action Against Raven's Claw Developer

Dewey Homes failed to meet required obligations in completing the development, according to the township employees.

The Limerick Township Board of Supervisors voted Tuesday to pursue legal action against the builder of Raven's Claw housing development, along Masters Drive off of Ridge Pike.

According to the Pottstown Mercury, the board declared Dewey Homes of Tredyffrin "in contempt of a court order to finish the development," allegedly failing to pave several roads, and not finishing sidewalks or curbs in the development.

The township is holding $550,000 of escrow on the development; the township can use the money to make the repairs, or have the court appoint a contractor to make the repairs.
